Nguyen Dinh Toan is Head of Information Security at Maritime Bank (MSB), one of Vietnam’s leading commercial banks, where he leads a team of nearly 30 security professionals across six functions: GRC, Technical Security Controls, Security Architecture, Security Assessment, SOC, and Security Automation & AI.

Before joining MSB, Toan worked as a cybersecurity and risk management consultant at EY Vietnam. He holds the CAISP (Certified AI Security Professional, 2025) certification — one of the first professionals in Vietnam to achieve this credential in AI security.

Under his leadership, MSB has built and deployed multiple AI-powered security automation use cases in production, including automated Threat Intelligence pipelines, real-time vulnerability briefings mapped to MSB’s asset inventory, and automated Key Control Indicator (KCI) measurement — enabling a lean team to operate at enterprise scale.

At Vietnam Security Summit 2026, Toan will share frontline insights on data security challenges in high-growth financial institutions and propose policy recommendations for a safer digital financial ecosystem in Vietnam.
